School Lunch

National School Lunch Program

Atlanta Classical Academy participates in the National School Lunch Program. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.

Participation in the National School Lunch Program affords ACA access to a number of state- and federally-funded programs from technology to teacher training and beyond.

Households must submit a new free & reduced application each school year. Applications can take up to 10 days to process. Households are responsible for meal payment until the application is approved. Returning ACA students will maintain their 2019-2020 status for the first 30-days of the new school year.

Please Note: The United States Department of Agriculture waiver that allowed Atlanta Classical Academy to provide free meals to all students during the 2021-2022 school year has expired.

  • ACA will resume charging meals during the 2022-2023 school year based on student eligibility for meal benefits.

  • All families (regardless of need) are encouraged to complete a federal meal application for free and reduced-price meals.

You may complete your child’s application for the free and reduced-price meals online at: You can also scan the provided QR code to complete your child’s application.
