Upper School Daily Schedule: 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Open House: Tuesday, August 10
New and returning Cavalier families are invited to attend any time between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Students will meet their teacher(s), receive schedules (upper school), receive a carpool hangtag, locker assignments, and much more! Families will also be able to shop the Used Uniform Sale.
Orientation for New Students and Families in Grades 1-5
7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Orientation for New Students and Families in Grades 8, 10, 11, & 12
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. in the ACA Cafeteria.
Because our on-campus parking is limited, there will be additional parking available at Northside Baptist Church (3100 Northside Drive NW) with a shuttle to take you from the parking lot to our campus. The shuttle will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Kindergarten Orientation Events
Practice Day – August 9 | 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
This event helps transition and ready students for their first full day by becoming familiar with classmates, teachers and classrooms. Parents will drop students off at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Knowles will host a meeting for parents from 10:15 – 11 a.m.
Tears & Cheers – August 11 | 8:00 a.m.
Tears & Cheers will take place after morning carpool on the first day of school. Parents will receive an invitation with more information in the coming weeks.
Sixth Grade Orientation | August 9
New students and families arrive at 9:00 a.m.
Parent meeting 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Returning students arrive at 11:30 a.m.
All students dismiss 3:00 p.m.
New Sixth Grade students and families will arrive on campus at 9:00 a.m. Parents of new students will meet with School Leaders from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and then are free to leave for the day. New students will take math and reading assessments in the morning; these will last until about 11:30 am. All 6th grade students are invited to an 11:30 a.m. pizza lunch at which they will spend time with Mr Knowles and the 6th grade teachers. New and returning students will spend the afternoon with school leaders, teachers and upper school student ambassadors for campus tours and team building activities.
Seventh Grade Orientation
August 9 | 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Room H202
Students and parents are invited to join Mr. Andrew, Mr. Schepps, and several teachers and students for a conversation about life in middle school.
Ninth Grade Orientation
August 9 | 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in Room H202
Students and parents are invited to join Mr. Andrew, Mr. Schepps, and several teachers and students for a conversation about life in high school.
School Supply Lists
If your family purchased school supplies via Bright SchoolKitz before July 7, your School Supply Box(es) will be shipped to school. If you placed an order after July 7, your box(es) will be shipped to your home. If you did not choose to purchase a Supply Box, please CLICK HERE to download the 2021-2022 Lower School supply list.

Our uniform vendors are listed below. Click the name of a vendor to access their website. Be sure to place all orders no later than July 23 in order to ensure your items arrive in time for the first day of school. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding ordering.
Educational Outfitters – Required jumpers, polos, pants, skirts, formal uniform items for Upper School. Optional items also available. To locate uniform items, enter “Atlanta Classical Academy” when prompted.

Used Uniform Sale
The next Used Uniform Sale will be held on campus on Tuesday, July 20 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Please contact email@example.com with any questions regarding used uniforms.

Parents can access their students class schedules, attendance records and grades; and update their contact information through Infinite Campus, Atlanta Public School’s (APS) student information and communication system. For more information, click here.
Fall Sports Registration & Tryouts
Students must register in order to ensure that they receive all relevant information and updates. There is no cost to register for tryouts. Registration forms can be found on mypaymentsplus.com. Once registered, students will be added to the team’s interest group on TeamSnap, through which additional information will be shared. In order to participate in tryouts, students must have an updated physical on file and must complete the required forms located on the Athletics page.
