Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Parents can access their student’s class schedules, attendance records, and grades; and update their contact information through Infinite Campus, the Atlanta Public Schools (APS) student information and communication system.

New Parent Portal Users

You will need your activation key to create an account. You should have received an activation key along with your students books and materials, but you can also request a portal activation key by clicking on the following link. You will be prompted to enter your child’s student number (which can be found on report cards and high school student schedules), and the last four digits of the student’s SS number and student’s birthdate.
Next, go to the Parent Portal login page here, and click on New User? to activate your account. Enter and submit the activation key assigned to you. Once the Activation Key has been used to create an account, it cannot be used again. The activation key will be verified, and when approved, a screen will prompt the user to create a username and password.
Finally, create your username and password. You’ll be prompted to re-enter the password in the Verify Password field. Once verified click the Create Account button.

If you previously had a Parent Portal account with APS:

You may need to reset your username and password. To do so, click the Forgot Your Password? link on Parent Portal login page and an email will be sent to the address on record. Directions for the password reset process will be included.

Updating your contact informaiton

As we transition to Infinite Campus, as our new primary system of record we need to ensure our student and family data is accurate and up-to-date. All previous efforts to keep our records up-to-date had been directed to PowerSchool which had been been our school’s primary system of record. Once you’re in the portal, please complete the following tasks:

  • Verify/update your contact information as your information in IC may not be up to date.

  • If you have multiple students, confirm whether or not you can see the information of all your students in IC. If your child is missing from your account, please contact Cindy Robbins at

Notable Changes

If you’ve been at ACA for any length of time, you will notice a few key differences between the two systems. First, is the difference in the names of some of our courses. For example, if your student has even elected to take Piano Performance you will likely see Beginning Keyboard Techniques. Don’t fret! They are one and the same. It simply means that there isn’t a course named Piano Performance in the state course catalog. Your student will still get the same world class education from Mr. Henriques. We are working with the district to eventually to align our course names with those in IC. This process will not happen all at once, so we ask for your patience as we transition our naming structure.
While this may not be immediately noticeable now, what you will notice when our first quarter grades come out is a change in the look of our report cards and the absence of letter grades. The district does not report letter grades, only numerical ones. Our report cards will more closely resemble the districts’ and gone are the days of A’s, B’s, C’s, and F’s. As we get closer to the end of the first quarter we will send out more information about what to expect on your child’s first report card of the year.
