MRS. HUFF

Science

Mrs. Huff received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and her Master of Education in Secondary Science Education from Georgia State. Before working at ACA, Mrs. Huff worked as a chemist for an adhesives company and taught physical science at a private school in the Atlanta area. She has been teaching at Atlanta Classical since the school first opened its doors in 2014.

Currently Mrs. Huff teaches high school chemistry and AP chemistry and is the science department chair. Additionally Mrs. Huff was chosen to be a Barney Charter School Initiative Master Teacher for the ‘22-’23 school year, where she will work to develop curricular resources and mentor science teachers at BCSI schools around the country.

Mrs. Huff enjoys spending time with her family and pets, camping, hiking, reading, needlepointing, and Pelotoning in her free time.

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
