Miss Malcom is an ESOL Instructor at Atlanta Classical Academy. She is well acquainted with learning another language as she studied Russian and immersed herself in the Russian culture and language prior to her work in the field of English as a Second Language. While living in Louisville, Kentucky, she worked with adults and children in the public school sector in teaching English as a Second Language and found it so rewarding to be a part of her students’ educational journey.

She is not new to the approach of classical education.  Having taught 6th grade at a classical school in Louisville, Kentucky for the past 5 years, and 7-9th grades last year, she desires to help her students pursue the good, the true and the beautiful and help them to see learning as a gift that we have been given. Miss Malcom holds a masters degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and hopes to one day pursue an MAT in ESOL and an Educational Specialist degree. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she is happy to be able to return to her home state and to a school devoted to classical education.

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
