MRS. ROBERTS
RTI/504 Coordinator
Mrs. Roberts was born and raised in Atlanta and holds a bachelor of music degree in Harp Performance from Furman University. She began her teaching career in the music realm, before landing in a Pre-First classroom in a private classical school in her mid 20’s. This changed the trajectory of her life as she fell in love with classical education. Mrs. Roberts spent seven years on staff with a church in the Atlanta area before staying home with her children. After 10 years at home, she joined the Faculty at ACA as a Teaching Assistant, then took on a long term maternity sub which turned into a permanent role as a 1st grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. A mother of four, two of her children have dyslexia and have experienced the benefits of early reading intervention. Mrs. Roberts is thrilled to work alongside parents and teachers to help each child have access to a classical education and the support to reach their full potential. She is married to Andy who works in commercial real estate, and they are parents to Lindy (8th), Lucy (5th) Wiley (3rd) and Wills (2nd grade at Atlanta Speech School). Never found without coffee in hand, outside of school she is usually driving her kids to activities, folding laundry, walking her dogs, and is always on the hunt for Atlanta’s best cookie.
