The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
Atlanta Classical Academy serves students in grades K-12. Any student currently zoned to attend an Atlanta Public School is eligible to attend.

Shannan was born and raised in Atlanta, and she holds a bachelor of science degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Georgia. She has worked for a variety of schools and nonprofit organizations as a fundraising professional and school social worker. She currently serves on the advisory board of Women’s Community Bible Study and on the Local Mission Board of her church. Shannan and her children (Annie, grade 2 and Hunter, grade 3) joined ACA last year, and they are thrilled to be apart of the ACA community. She is married to Hunter who works in financial services. Shannan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially in the great outdoors.
