MR. CLAUSEN
Science & Mathematics
Mr. Clausen earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Religion from Hillsdale College, where he discovered his love for the liberal arts and the beauty of mathematics. He is currently working towards his Master of Arts in Classical Education. He has assisted at Hillsdale Academy and Phillips Andover Academy, and taught for one year here at Atlanta Classical after college. After two years of helping a Christian school in Toledo, Ohio transition to classical education, he is thrilled to be back home in Atlanta.
He grew up enjoying the beaches, ball fields, and snow-covered hills of west Michigan, trying to keep up with his older siblings and cousins. These days, when he is not in the classroom, you can find him coaching baseball or volleyball, cooking up new recipes, watching Cubs baseball, hiking trails, or reading an old book with a fresh mug of tea.
