MR. HEISKELL

Fourth Grade

​​Mr. Heiskell grew up in Atlanta where he attended the small schools that his grandparents established prior to attending Furman University where he received a B.A. in History. Following graduation from college, he lived in Montana, New York, Massachusetts, and Tennessee prior to returning to Atlanta with his family and settling into a tenure in education. Prior to joining the ACA faculty as a 4th grade teacher, Mr. Heiskell had 12 years of teaching experience in 5th and 6th grades in Atlanta area private schools.

Mr. Heiskell loves the mission of ACA and finds fulfillment each day in being a part of a community that cultivates a love of learning with students and colleagues alike. His primary extracurricular time at Atlanta Classical is with the middle school (Fall) and high school (Spring) boys’ soccer teams.  GO CAVS! 

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
