The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
Atlanta Classical Academy serves students in grades K-12. Any student currently zoned to attend an Atlanta Public School is eligible to attend.

Ms. Figura is a native of Florida and a graduate of both The University of Central Florida and Florida International University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from UCF, where she specialized in reading instruction and working with ESOL students, and then earned her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructional Design from FIU. She has been teaching for five years, three of which have been in classical education. Ms. Figura spent her first few years teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade literacy, followed by a transition to teaching 4th grade.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Figura has a wide range of interests such as hiking, running, CrossFit, history books and documentaries, cooking, reading, and walking her dog. In her free time, you can find Ms. Figura sitting in nature, sipping a Diet Coke, and reading a historical fiction book.
