MR. NICK BUFORD

Nick Buford is Amazon’s Regional Policy Lead covering the southeast region. In this role, he manages Amazon’s public policy advocacy in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Nick joined Amazon after leading state and local government affairs for McDonald’s Corporation in eight states. Before McDonald’s Corporation, he served in Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s administration as Deputy Chief Operating Officer, OneGeorgia Authority Program Director, and Economic Development Policy Advisor. He also worked as an External Affairs coordinator in the Georgia Secretary of State’s office. He was a member of the Zell Miller Leadership Institute’s Class of 2019. In June 2023, Nick joined the Board of Directors for Atlanta Classical Academy.   He graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Political Science and lives in Marietta, GA with his wife and daughter.
