MR. LEO SMITH
Mr. Leo Smith joined the board of Atlanta Classical Academy in July of 2019. He is the Executive Director at Engaged Futures Inc., a consultancy focused on Business Development, Public Affairs and Government Relations. He is also a Leadership Network cohort with the American Enterprise Institute free market think-tank, and a strategic partner with the Martin Luther King Center.
Mr. Smith is a career public school advocate having enjoyed a career in university administration leading, Athletics, EOAA, and Admissions departments. He has served the Georgia Charter School Association Parent Advisory Board, The Smyrna Education Foundation Board, and has experience developing and advocating for charter school petitions.
Prior to his new board role, Mr. Smith served the founding Advisory Council of ACA during the charter seeking process. His 2 children began their education at The Heiskell School on what is now the ACA campus. Leo has B.S. degree from Virginia Tech and studied in the Graduate Schools of Education and Business.
