Ms. Adams graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  After college she spent a few years working as a Children’s Case Manager and as a Mortgage Loan Processor before realizing she really wanted to teach.  She began teaching and earned her Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee.  Ms. Adams spent 12 years at home with her four daughters before returning to work at Atlanta Classical Academy as a Kindergarten teacher in 2016.  After a few years she graduated to first grade and moved into the Literacy Coordinator role in 2021.

Since returning to teaching at Atlanta Classical Academy, Ms. Adams has attended several Literacy Trainings including Orton-Gillingham (70+ hours), Wilson Phonics (15 hours), IMSE (30 hours), and Literacy Essentials (60+ hours).

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
