In continuing to introduce the new faces around Atlanta Classical this year, we would like to introduce you to Dr. Sich and Mrs. Sabree-Foy, both upper school math and science teachers.
Mrs. Sabree-Foy graduated cum laude from Marian University in Indianapolis, IN with a B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry, and is very excited about the opportunity to work at Atlanta Classical Academy. Mrs. Sabree-Foy worked as a writing tutor for three and a half years, a Marian University certified upper level math and chemistry tutor for two years, a supplemental instructor for college algebra one semester, and a presidential writing scholar during her senior year of college. She also interned for three consecutive summers at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, the largest law firm in the state of Indiana. Mrs. Sabree-Foy enjoys spending time with family, exploring the falls of North Georgia, and dancing to contemporary hip hop music.
Dr. Sich holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Nuclear Engineering, with a dissertation on the Chornobyl Accident, an M.A. from Harvard University in Soviet Studies (with a focus upon Ukraine), an M.A. from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Philosophy (Thomism), and a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Nuclear Engineering and Physics… and he is published in these fields.
Dr. Sich and his wife, Nataly, have seven children (three of whom will be attending the Atlanta Classical Academy) and (currently!) two grandchildren. His interests include the philosophy of nature, swimming, reading, classical music, and travel.
