In a wonderful start to the season, Atlanta Classical held the first-ever Fine Arts Holiday Program on December 7. It was standing room only to hear the Lower School Choir sing holiday favorites including “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and the ACA Men’s Ensemble sing a holiday medley that included “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” The string ensembles played pieces ranging from Shaker folk songs to Tchaikovsky, while the ACA Dance Company jazzed up the show with a Rockettes-inspired kick line.
The Cavalier Chamber Choir sang holiday classics and Ms. Holscher, Ms. O’Rourke, Mr. Baxter and Mr. Franklin inspired everyone with a spectacular quartet. Winter-themed student artwork also was on display for everyone to enjoy. Special thanks to Leigh Kerschner for chairing the event, to Elizabeth Sheehan for her beautiful graphic design work, and to all the ACA students, parents and grandparents who braved a wet and chilly evening to attend!
