More than 200 Cavalier students and family members flooded the cafeteria for Atlanta Classical’s 2nd Annual Bingo Night on Friday, February 22.
Emcees Suzanne Williams, parent, and Mr. Holt, 5th Grade teacher, called numerous rousing rounds of Bingo as enthusiastic winners collected prizes donated by Kazoo Toys, Learning Express, Chick-fil-A, Maple Drive Dentistry, ACA Spirit Wear, Yogurtland, and numerous ACA parents.
Many thanks to everyone who organized, donated, and worked the event to make the evening great fun for everyone, including The Brautigan Family and Rocky Mountain Pizza for pizza and Waterloo Sparkling Water for beverages and snacks.
According to Suzanne Williams, self-declared, long-time bingo enthusiast, “Bingo Night is my favorite night of the school year! Seeing our children, parents, teachers, and staff having so much fun together is just such a treat. We started this event for the purpose of building community within our school and what a tremendous joy and success it has been!”
Having launched bingo at ACA and seen it successfully through its second sold-out year, the “Bingo Ladies” (Angela Hsu, Shelly Shearer, Jen Walker, Suzanne Williams and Lisa Woods), are looking for the next team of proud bingo advocates to carry the torch! Interested? Please email Lisa Woods or indicate that you would like to chair bingo on the annual PTCA willingness-to-serve survey.
