MS. ARRINGTON

Science

Ms. Arrington received both her BS and MS degrees from Georgia Southern University where she specialized in Genetics and researched the population biology of Brown Widow Spiders. In addition to research, she taught General Biology Labs to undergraduate students which sparked her interest in teaching her favorite subject. After graduating, was Science Advisor to Bear Lake Valley Farms in NW Pennsylvania where she raised 50 chickens and helped build a greenhouse for the local school’s 4th grade STEM class.

Her courses include 7th Grade Science, Biology, AP Biology, and Physiology. She currently is the Faculty Sponsor for the Gardening, Gaming, and Baking Clubs.

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
