The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
Atlanta Classical Academy serves students in grades K-12. Any student currently zoned to attend an Atlanta Public School is eligible to attend.

Mr. Gwak holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from YONSEI University in Seoul, South Korea. His areas of expertise include teaching pre-algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, geometry, calculus, statistics, SAT/ACT preparation, AP exams, and Math Olympiad problems.
Mr. Gwak has been teaching for seven years. He worked as a math tutor and teaching assistant at Arizona State University, as an SAT math instructor and developer of The 3 Stone Math at Boston Prep, and as a private tutor for K-12 students as well as a volunteer math program manager at AZKUMC.
Mr. Gwak is married and has two young children. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo and a Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate. He also enjoys playing piano and guitar.
