MISS HAM

Second Grade

Miss Ham graduated from Hillsdale College with a major in American Studies. She has done a variety of jobs, including student librarian at Hillsdale College’s Mossed Library. She spent a summer as an intern at the National Museum of the United States Navy, where she created a draft for a new exhibit. She spent another summer teaching core subjects as a middle school teacher in San Jose, California, and two summers as a manual laborer for Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT.

She was one of the founding faculty at Atlanta Classical, and has taught in Second Grade throughout her career with ACA.

Miss Ham is a huge Boston Red Sox fan, enjoys traveling, reading, and drinking lots of tea.

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
