MS. FAUX

Academic Resource Support Team Lead

Ms. Faux has extensive experience in research, assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and program/project management primarily in education. Prior to joining the Atlanta Classical Academy family, she served at Charles R. Drew Charter School as Director for Research, Data and Analysis. At Drew, Ms. Faux helped foster a data-driven culture among teachers, staff, and leadership and was tasked with using data to improve instruction, guide decision-making, and promote stakeholder engagement.

She has also served in research, project and program management positions in institutions including Mathematica Policy Research (MPR), Houston Independent School District (HISD), the Center for Research, Evaluation, Advancement for Teacher Education (CREATE), the Georgia Department of Education, and the Atlanta Public Schools. In addition, Ms. Faux has worked as a research consultant on international education projects in Ghana and Nigeria.

She holds a B.A. in Economics from Spelman College, and a M.A. in Education Leadership and Policy from the University of Maryland. She currently lives in Atlanta with her daughter, who attends Atlanta Classical Academy.

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
