Question: When is graduation?
The graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Question: Where is Trinity Presbyterian Church?
The church is located at 3003 Howell Mill Road, NW Atlanta, GA 30327.
Question: How long will the graduation ceremony last?
We expect the ceremony to last approximately 1 hour.
Question: Will there be a Valedictorian and a Salutatorian?
Yes. Those individuals will be identified and notified closer to the end of the school year. Both individuals will have a role in the graduation ceremony.
>Question: Do we have a commencement speaker?
The Board of Directors is actively pursuing possible speaking candidates. However, it is important to note that our focus at graduation will be firmly on the graduating students and their achievements.
Question: Will there be a reception following graduation?
Yes. There will be a reception hosted by the Junior Class Parents. Light refreshments will be served and you will have an opportunity to take pictures, etc.
Question: Will there be a Baccalaureate service?
Yes. The Baccalaureate service will be held on Friday, May 17th at Trinity Presbyterian Church. The time is TBD but will be held in the evening.
Question: How many people may each student invite to the ceremonies?
Trinity Presbyterian Church has a seating capacity of over 700. Therefore we feel very comfortable in saying that each student may invite an unlimited number of guests to both the Baccalaureate service and the graduation ceremony. We will NOT issue tickets to the events.
Question: May I reserve seating?
No. Seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Doors will open approximately 1 hour prior to the start of the events.
Question: What about parking?
There is ample parking available at Trinity so we do not foresee any issues with parking at the church. However, if you have someone who is handicapped and needs reserved parking, we will make every effort to accommodate those requests. An email regarding special parking requests will go out closer to the events.
Question: Will there be a senior dinner?
Yes. A senior dinner is scheduled for Monday, May 13th at 7 p.m. at Maggiano’s Restaurant. Details regarding the dinner will be forthcoming but please save the date.
Question: How much will the senior dinner cost?
An anonymous restricted donation has been given to the school which will cover the cost of the dinner for seniors and their parents. The school will NOT cover siblings, however.
Question: How much will the yearbooks cost for seniors?
Again, an anonymous restricted donation given to the school will cover the cost of the yearbook for all seniors.
