MST Development and Communication Committees Call for Volunteers

This year the ACA Mission Support Team (MST) will work to further two significant areas of opportunity for ACA: communications and development/fundraising. To that end we are creating two new MST committees, and are seeking parent volunteers and subject matter experts to partner with the MST in these areas.

MST Development Committee
This new committee will be an interdisciplinary, collaborative community sounding board for ACA development efforts and a source of community-based development expertise. The committee will have representatives from ACA faculty, staff and parents as well as subject-matter experts (SMEs) with experience in this area. We would like ONE (1) Development Committee representative for each grade K-12, and we ask representatives to serve for two (2) years with an option to loop/continue.

MST Communications Committee
This new committee will collaborate with ACA faculty, staff and parent volunteer representatives to shape a message of advocacy for the ACA mission and vision in the metro Atlanta community and “tell the ACA story” across our external communications channels. We welcome ACA parents, family members and subject matter experts with relevant expertise in corporate communications, PR, advertising, marketing, community relations and related areas. Ideally these volunteers will serve for two (2) years through our 2019 re-charter efforts, with an option to loop/continue.

Please send an email to by Thursday August 24th if you are interested in serving on either of these two committees. Thank you in advance for your willingness to serve!
