MS. MARKWELL

Ms. Markwell grew up in Alabama, but with most of her extended family residing in Georgia, has always held a special affinity for the Peach State and the Georgia Bulldogs. She graduated cum laude from Troy University earning a B.S. in K-6 Elementary Education, with which she previously served as a second grade teacher for two years in Panama City, Florida.

In her free time, Ms. Markwell enjoys camping, hiking, and generally being outdoors. She treasures a good book paired with a hot cup of coffee, autumn weather, and opportunities to learn new things, as well as indulging in creative outlets including calligraphy and painting.
