MR. SWEENEY
Chief Administrative Officer
Prior to joining Liberty, Mr. Sweeney served as Assistant Head of School for Administration and Dean of Students at Pacific Bay Christian School in Pacifica, California. Before entering the education sector, Mr. Sweeney spent more than thirty years working in government, politics, and law as an attorney, political advisor, political appointee, and public policy expert. Over the course of his long and distinguished legal and public policy career, Mr. Sweeney acquired a national reputation as an expert in the areas of non-profit organizations and religious institutions law, religious freedom rights, political and elections law.
Mr. Sweeney holds a Juris Doctor degree in law from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, as well as a Master of Sacred Theology degree from Nashotah House Theological Seminary.
