MRS. ANDREW

Elementary Literacy Specialist

Originally hailing from Houston, Texas, Mrs. Andrew attended Hillsdale College where she earned a B.A. in History and French and completed a student teaching apprenticeship. Upon graduation, she taught kindergarten through sixth grade French, fifth grade grammar, and ran an aftercare program at a private classical school in Michigan before moving to Atlanta. At Atlanta Classical Academy, Mrs. Andrew has taught third grade, was apart of the school’s accreditation team, and she served on the Mission Support Team, a continuous process improvement committee. She has led professional development for other BCSI schools about classical education, and she is an Orton-Gillingham Associate. She is currently Atlanta Classical Academy’s Instructional Lead, where she helps teachers develop and implement literacy curriculum. In her free time, Mrs. Andrew enjoys hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop graduates in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
