Mrs. Shelton earned a BA in English and philosophy from Covenant College. While a student, she was most interested in continental philosophy, philosophical hermeneutics, and modern poetry and prose.
During college, she worked at Ridge Haven Camp and Conference Center as a camp counselor for 3rd-12th grade students, and later as the camp nurse’s assistant. As a work-study student for the Philosophy Department at Covenant College, she tutored students in the Intro classes.
In her elusive free time, Mrs. Shelton enjoys reading graphic novels, poetry, and children’s literature. She also frequents the dog park with her floppy-eared mutt. Her hobbies include baking and watching Doctor Who marathons while knitting.
