The mission of Atlanta Classical Academy is to develop students in mind and character through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes the principles of virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
Atlanta Classical Academy serves students in grades K-12. Any student currently zoned to attend an Atlanta Public School is eligible to attend.

- Get Involved
Mrs. Felty graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She is passionate about literacy, particularly the Orton-Gillingham approach for reading instruction and remediation. She is also a handwriting specialist, certified through the Learning Without Tears™ program.
Mrs. Felty began her career as a Kindergarten teacher in North Carolina. Following this, she spent nearly 10 years working as a Communications Project Manager and Change Manager in the banking industry. During the years she stayed home to focus on her children, Mrs. Felty was an active volunteer in schools and the local community. Upon her arrival in Atlanta in 2011, she founded a handwriting tutoring company supporting elementary aged students.
Although born in New Jersey, Mrs. Felty likes to consider herself a southerner, having lived in North Carolina for 18 years before relocating to Atlanta. She and her husband have two sons who are high school students. In her elusive free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time at the beach with family.
