MR. REED
Director of Athletics
Mr. Reed, Atlanta Classical’s Director of Athletics, is originally from Bronx, New York. He graduated from SUNY College at Old Westbury with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2004.
Mr. Reed is both a former Executive Director and Character of Leadership Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, as well as the former Athletics Coordinator at the Supportive Children’s Advocacy Network. He is a recipient of the Gates Millennium Scholarship, which allowed him to support his students in times of hardship (and to meet Melinda and Bill Gates).
Mr. Reed has also coached 18u AAU basketball teams and facilitated various sports camps at ACA and elsewhere. His passion for wellness and mentorship fuels his drive to help every student live their healthiest life.
Mr. Reed lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
